Vidya Pratishthan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) was established in February 2000 at Baramati with an aim to provide quality education in the field of Information Technology and Computer Science. VIIT offers courses like MCA and MCM affiliated to University of Pune, BCA & MBA courses are affiliated to Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and VIIT also offers courses like B.Tech(Electronics), Diploma in Electronics, Diploma in Computer Technology, Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering which are affilated to Yashwantrao Cahvan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik.VIIT is spreading on a campus of 30 acres, this institute provides best available infrastructure and amenities for its students. VIIT has a network of more that 250 computers powered with Gigabit Fiber Optic Cable. Two boys hostels and one girls hostel enjoys the connectivity to main servers of VIIT.
